Hi, guys!
Today, I'm finally going to do a tag that I've been dying to do for so long: The Fictional Boyfriends Tag. It's going to be nice and quick, since I have so many amazing boyfriends (FICTIONAL ones...*cough*) that I want to talk about and it would take me FOREVER to finish this if I let myself get carried away. So let's jump straight into it.
1. The Most Romantic Boyfriend: James Carstairs (from The Infernal Devices, by Cassandra Clare)
I think it's pretty obvious from my TID review that I have a HUGE crush on Jem. That's because he's basically perfect. I think he would make the sweetest boyfriend ever! I mean, he would play the violin for you and he would take you on long walks through London and he would just be his adorable, shy, beautiful self.
2. The Dark and Moody Boyfriend With a Good Side: Carter West (from Night School, by CJ Daugherty)
Carter is definitely moody. But that's just because he cares so much about the people around him and he just doesn't know how to show it. He may put up a bad boy image, but inside, he's a sweetheart. He would lay his life down for you if he had to and he would keep you company in detention. What more could you possibly want?!
3. The Paranormal Boyfriend: Archer Cross (from Hex Hall, by Rachel Hawkins)
Archer was my FIRST fictional boyfriend, so he holds a very special place in my heart. He is very much paranormal: he's a warlock (and an ex demon hunter - SPOILERS). He's bad-boyish and very good looking. He's very funny and has a fine sense of sarcasm. He can get quite arrogant, but that only makes him sexier. And he's secretly very romantic!
4. The Boyfriend You Want to Tame: Travis Maddox (Beautiful Disaster, by Jamie McGuire)
Travis needs some serious taming, but he's definitely worth the effort! He's covered in tats, owns a motorcycle and fights like a pro - your typical bad boy. All of that aside, he is very smart (a straight-A student, mind you) and downright adorable, when he wants to. He wears his heart on his sleeve and he would run into a burning building for you. If he keeps his naturally hot temper in check, he's perfect!
5. The Boy You Frienzoned: Sam (from The Wolves of Mercy Falls, by Maggie Stiefvater)
Sam is sweet...too sweet. Don't get me wrong, I think he's lovely and a great songwriter and I love that he plays the guitar, I just think he takes the whole sensitive thing a little too far. I would love to have him as a friend, but I am not at all attracted to him. I guess he's just not my type. Sorry, Sam!
6.Your Soulmate: James Carstairs (yes, AGAIN)
I know I'm probably supposed to pick different characters for each category, but I just couldn't help myself. Jem and I are meant to be and NOBODY can tell me otherwise. We are going to get married and live a long, happy life together. We are going to move into a cozy flat in London and we're going to take Church with us.
7. The Boyfriend You Would Elope With: Sylvain Cassel (from Night School, by CJ Daugherty)
Confession: I had absolutely no idea what "eloping" meant, so I had to google it. *face palm* BUT now that I know what it is, I wouldn't mind eloping with Sylvain. I mean, he's gorgeous and he has that incredibly sexy accent AND he's a pro when it comes to riding his motorbike. He's also very romantic and attentive. Have I mentioned that he's loaded?? (He is.)
8. The Boyfriend You Would Venture Anywhere With: Magnus Bane (from The Mortal Instruments, by Cassandra Clare)
Ok, I know that Magnus might not be interested in me that way (I ship Malec HARD, anyway), but this is my list, so...SORRYNOTSORRY. The main reason I would go anywhere with this amazing man is that he is so darn funny, so I know that he would make me laugh so much. I just think we'd have a blast wherever we'd go.
9.The Boyfriend You Want to Be Stranded on a Deserted Island With: Noah Shaw (from Mara Dyer, by Michelle Hodkin)
I know that being stranded on a deserted island is not exactly an ideal situation, but I think having Noah with me would make this otherwise unpleasant experience beyong bearable. We'd just sunbathe and READ and snog all day. And when we'd get tired of the same old sandy beach, he'd just make a quick phone call and someone would come to our rescue because he's AWESOME.
10. The Most Badass Boyfriend: Patch Cipriano (from Hush Hush, by Becca Fitzpatrick)
I had the biggest book hangover after reading Hush Hush. I absolutely adore this series and the best thing about it is, no doubt, Jev "Patcn" Cipriano. He is the very definition of badass. First of all, he is SO SEXY, with his tanned skin and jet black hair and deep, charcoal eyes. Becca makes it seem like you would actually drool at the sight of him. He owns a jeep AND a motorcycle. He hangs out in arcade bars, playing pool. He doesn't care if your mommy doesn't like him, he wants YOU. Oh, and he's a fallen angel. Literally.
That's it, guys. I hope you enjoyed reading this, because I certainly had a lot of fun writing it. Also. if you feel like it, comment telling me who YOUR fictional boyfriends are, so we can fangirl together.
Just Maddy xoxo
